Bio[]

The first diamond to be created, Red Diamond is a prototype. The creator decided that his emotional instability and childlike nature made him unfit for his own purpose and replaced him with the current diamonds.
It was originally believed that Red Diamond did not realize that he had been replaced, until he revealed he knew he had, and frankly didn't care. He did not enjoy the idea of his original purpose and prefers his current job. (He doesn't actually have one, whether he is aware of that fact is...debatable)
Red Diamond currently reside on colony CLASSIFIED. Despite being, in the words of Yellow Diamond, "utterly useless" Red Diamond has not been shattered because, no matter your rank, it is a crime to shatter ANY Diamond.
Appearance[]
Red Diamond has a red, anime-esque hairstyle (Think Natsu). Normally he's appears wearing a red Trenchcoat...which he seems to enjoy the appearance. He is smaller than the other diamonds, only about as tall as a fusion of two topazes
Personality[]
Red Diamond is childish and irresponsible. To quote Yellow Diamond "His own chaotic personality and inability to take anything seriously leaves him unfit to control any form of responsibility." However, he's also quite creative, responsible for the design of several quarts soldiers (Not like he has much else to do on colony CLASSIFIED)
Powers/Abilities[]
Red Diamond has most of the standard gem abilities, excluding fusion. Due to his prototypical nature, Red Diamond actually has the ability to split his projection into multiple versions. His original version is the only one to have a gem, the others being basically projections with basic aspects of his personality. He gets smaller as he uses this abilities, and each version of his projection are completely separate being who can function without the original. However, if the one with the gem is poofed, they all poof.
He can also summon a Scythe for some, unknown reason.
Relationships[]
Yellow Diamond[]
They have a rather low opinion of each other. Interestingly, they used to somewhat respectful to each other, until a few weeks after Pink Diamonds death. Red Diamond told her "I know what you did" and they haven't spoken since.
Blue Diamond[]
His relationship with blue is much better than with yellow, considering her his favorite still living sister
White Diamond[]
Red Diamond has a high and respectful opinion of White Diamond, despite the fact she rarely contacts him
Painite[]
Red Diamond respects Painite as much as the other diamonds, despite the fact he believes she replaced him with the newer diamonds. However, Painite has been in creation aftershock most of his life so he doesn't know her oponion of him
