"Hematoide" is a Gemsona owned by Silk. She was created by Livi-Moonfish.
Personality[]
Hematoide is an optimistic and upbeat Gem. She is naturally friendly, but shy when it comes to strangers.

Hematoide has the typical abilities of normal Gems, such as shapeshifting, fusing, et cetera.

Unique Weapons & Abilities[]
- Phytokinesis: Hematoide has the ability to control plants.
- Bioterrorism: Hematoide weilds a semi-harmless grenade that brings out microcular gem parasites that can sicken or even kill the gem, depending on her behavior:
- Happy: The parasite is very weak in comparison to the others, and would be Category C in the agent scale. It makes the target, if it's a Gem, pleased.
- Neutral/Sad: The parasite is stronger than the previous, and would be categorized as Category B. It makes a target, if a Gem, happy.
- Depressed/Morbidly Sad: The strongest parasite, the only one to give deadly diseases. It would be classified as Category A. It makes a Gem target ecstatic.
- Strong Endurance: As a Quartz, Hematoide can endure most physical attacks.
Relationships[]
Ruby (Shorty)[]
Hematoide's small guard, Shorty was just given to her because Yellow Diamond was annoyed with the defective Ruby and her outbursts. However, they quickly grew to like eachother, despite their personalities being different. Hematoide would do anything to help the small corundum, and playfully teases her with the nickname "Shorty", much to Shorty's irritation.
Snowy []
Hematoide sees Snowy as a mother her child; as in, she sees her as vulnerable, and a Gem she has to care for until the end. Hematoide tries to be optimistic for her most of pall, but fails due to Snowy NOW knowing the harsh realities of life.
Gemology[]
- Hematoide is also known as Ferruginous Quartz, which as you may have guessed is a kind of quartz.
- Hematoide gets its colours from common inclusions such as hematite and limonite.
- Hematoide is commonly mined in Europe and Brazil.

- Hematoide was made by Livi. I obtained her legally in a raffle.

- She was originally a Mecca Stone, but was changed due to being in canon.
